Maintenance & Referral Programs

One of the largest points of investing in a synthetic turf or green is to eliminate the grueling hassle and heavy maintenance of real live surfaces – weekly mowing, weeding, fertilizing, repairing and the list goes on and on.

You may think synthetic turf is 100% maintenance free, but truthfully, nothing on this earth is actually “maintenance-free”.  With a little effort and care your Southwest Green will last for years to come. Southwest Greens of Long Island recommends that all of our customers take part in our ANNUAL MAINTENANCE PROGRAM which assists you in keeping your golf green in optimal condition each season.

We offer two annual maintenance plans to care for your golf green.  The VIP PLAN consists of 4 visits per year between the months of April  and September while the BASIC PLAN is 1 visit scheduled in the spring.  The turf is brushed out with power brooms to remove dirt and debris that has settled onto the surface of your green.  The putting surface is re-applied with colored top-dressing where necessary and hand brushed into the turf for an even fill, then rolled with a power roller.  Lastly the sand traps are grade raked. It’s also a great time to get new flags or pins if needed.  The first service of the year following your install is complimentary, then priced based on the size of your green thereafter.

We find our customers who take advantage of the Annual Maintenance Program are very happy with the outcome and extended longevity of our product.  We will send out correspondance regarding the maintenance every spring to schedule your  participation in this program.

Referral Program

Southwest Greens of Long Island offers a Referral Program because we know that every time a family member or friend sees our product, they always ask the same question…”Where can I get one?” Our REFERRAL PROGRAM gives you, our client an opportunity to receive an additional COMPLIMENTARY SPRING MAINTENANCE for each referral that signs a contract with us.
